Sometimes in a simple life

There occurs a complication

Creating a disturbance,

Upsetting your routine...

A consternation.

He’ll pop into your life and say:

“Hey you! By the way...”

I wanted to run, I screamed:

“No way!”

But he calmed down crazy

And I realised that being emotional

Is okay.

It took too much

And my energy was lost.

I decided to block him out

At any cost.

I can see it now.

We’ll be just fine.

Although my mind’s closed,

I can feel you in my spirit,

And that’s a good sign.

In surviving this first challenge,

We’ll know we’re off to a good start.
