A Poem A Day To Keep Insanity Away

I tried an article a day
took too long
I loathe editing...
Didn't work
didn't pay

So I sat down and thought
maybe a song a day...
too much time and energy
as you can play one song
all day
everyday
so...
that didn't work
and it sure as hell didn't pay.

So, maybe a poem a day
one to inspire
Maybe Pound converts to pounds
and one to express my
joy
desire
excitement
fatigue
sorrow
anger
pain
whatever I feel that day...

Ok, so that's really
two poems a day
but who knows?
Maybe it'll work
perchance it will pay...
